According to CNN, Tyler Robinson allegedly told his father that he had just shot and killed Kirk at an event at Utah University the previous day. After the admission, his father contacted the authorities and kept a close watch on Robinson until law enforcement officers arrived to arrest him.
Though cops have arrested the shooter, Tyler Robinson, commentator Candace Owens believes more folks might have had a part in it.
Candace Owens shares an X post linking Tyler Robinson to Discord chats before Charlie Kirk's killing
A widely shared post on X claims that Tyler Robinson was in communication with one or more people on Discord before Charlie Kirk was killed. The post says that Robinson was given a rifle, hinting that more people could have helped plan or facilitate the attack to happen. It talks about the event as a possible secret plot, and says more people should be arrested and investigated. The post states:
"So Tyler Robinson was communicating with someone(s) on discord prior to, and about the assassinat!on of Charlie Kirk Someone provided him with the rifle. This means there were others involved. That's a conspiracy. More arrests need to be made."
Candace, who shared the post, echoed these concerns, saying more folks were probably part of it and stressed the need to identify them. She also looked at a broader pattern, seeing that many school shootings are tied to Discord chats. She said this shows there's a hidden network that the authorities need to investigate and monitor.
She wrote:
"Correct. More people were involved and we need to know whom. A lot of school shootings are related to discord chats so there is an underground emerging and we need to know who the directors of it are."
