General Hospital recap: What happened on July 30, 2025?

The recent episode of the daytime soap opera General Hospital, which aired on July 30, 2025, was packed with plot-shifting moments that kept fans on the edge of their seats. As Willow regretted her decision to go to Carly’s place, Rocco sought help from Mayor Laura Collins. Elsewhere, Kai remains loyal to Drew, while the latter makes a plea to Michael. 

Meanwhile, the tension between Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Lulu Spencer still remains high; at the same time, Curtis convinces Portia not to submit her resignation.

Leisl’s return stirs tension

As seen in the recent episodes of General Hospital, Leisl Obrecht's return has stirred some significant drama in Port Charles. Rocco wanted to know more about Britt, the woman who gave him birth, but he was unable to because of the restrictions by his parents, particularly his mother Lulu.

He went to meet the mayor of Port Charles, Laura Collins, also his grandmother, to seek help with his mother. 

Further, Rocco told her that when he learned about Britt, he emailed Leisl, and she came to Port Charles to meet with him. However, upon hearing about Leisl’s arrival, Laura was left stunned, and said that his parents' relationship with Leisl was not too pleasant.

However, Rocco expressed that he finds her nice, since she tells him stories about his childhood, which his parents aren’t aware of.

Elsewhere at the Metro Court Pool in Port Charles, Lulu confronted Brook Lynn, she accused that she is the reason why Rocco knows about Britt and Liesl’s return to town. Maxie Jones was again caught in the drama between the two of them. 

The day after the wedding that didn’t happen

Further on General Hospital, things have still been chaotic because of the drama that took place at the wedding, which did not really go through. Drew went to see Michael, where he was told that the wedding did not happen, and he must allow Willow to see the kids now.

However, Michael still remained adamant on his take to not let Willow see the kids outside of court. Michael further accused Drew of sabotaging Willow’s visit to the clinic in Germany. 

Elsewhere, Willow woke up at Elizabeth’s place and felt regretful of her decision to run to Carly’s place from the ceremony. Willow thanked her for letting her stay for the night and comforting her in the moment.

However, she decides to head to Michael and apologize for the other night. Willow then went to see Michael.

She told her that she is in a better state of mind and wants to apologize. However, Michael still did not allow her to see the kids. 

Back at Elizabeth’s place, Drew comes hoping to find Willow. However, Liz remarks that she is not here and has left.

Anyhow, as the two start to talk, Drew learns that it was Curtis who revealed the truth about Nina and Drew’s relationship to Willow, thus breaking off their marriage. 

Elsewhere in Port Charles, Nina sits with Ric and asks him to continue preparing for Willow’s custody case. Meanwhile, Kai was seen having a discussion with Josslyn Jacks about how Trina has decided not to rekindle their relationship. Kai also learns that Drew might again get framed for something he did not do. 

On the other hand, Curtis takes a moment to update Trina about Drew and Willow’s wedding that did not happen. He was also seen convincing Portia not to submit her resignation, as he believes Drew will leave Port Charles soon.
