Jim Wahl and Timothy Wahl, two former General Hospital crew members, are suing ABC for wrongful termination after they were fired for refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine, Variety reports.

The suit claims that "ABC's actions constitute religious discrimination and violate Plaintiffs rights under state law."

It goes on to state, "On Nov. 9, 2021, ABC officially denied Plaintiffs' requests for religious exemptions to the COVID Vaccine Mandate."

"It gave no reason for its decision, except to say that the company was 'unable to conclude that you are prevented from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine due to a sincerely-held religious belief, practice, or observance.'"

"Plaintiffs desire a judicial declaration that ABC's vaccine mandate is unconstitutional because it violates their right to privacy under Article I, section 1 of the California Constitution," the suit continues.

This is the second General Hospital lawsuit stemming from Disney-ABC's vaccine mandate. In December 2021, cast member Ingo Rademacher, who played Jasper "Jax" Jacks for almost 25 years, sued ABC for refusing religious exemptions for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Primetimer has reached out to ABC and Disney for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
