The Real Housewives of Orange County returned with season 19, and the new trailer highlighted the return of old tensions and ongoing drama. The teaser, released by Bravo on June 5, opened with all eight women — Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Jennifer Pedranti, Katie Ginella, and returning cast member Gretchen Rossi — taking polygraph tests.
Rossi, who re-joined the show after a 12-year break, was involved in a key moment with Tamra, who yelled,
“12 years you’ve been going after me.”
This season also included trips to New Orleans and Amsterdam, with cast members participating in group challenges and confrontations. Jenn was seen telling her fiancé Ryan that she didn’t want Tamra at their wedding, while Emily shared that Gretchen made serious claims about Tamra.
Heather was pulled into the rumor mill, and the polygraph segment appeared to fuel ongoing distrust within the group. With returning cast, unresolved history, and shifting alliances, season 19 set the stage for intense conversations and changing dynamics.
Gretchen Rossi’s return in a part-time role set off tension early in the season. Tamra Judge directly called her out during a group confrontation, shouting that she had been going after her for “12 years.” Slade Smiley, Gretchen’s longtime partner, was also pulled into the conflict when Emily told Tamra that Gretchen had accused her of having an affair. Emily was later seen FaceTiming with Slade and asking,
“There’s audio of them having s*x?”
She further suggested there might be a recording linked to the rumor. Tamra was seen discussing the issue with Heather, where she said, “She’s lying.” The trailer showed Tamra and Gretchen’s ongoing history affecting the larger group, especially as Slade referred to Tamra as “Captain Evil.”
The tension appeared to ripple through the rest of the season, with other cast members caught in the fallout. Jenn, who was engaged to Ryan Boyajian, was seen telling Heather,
“That f**king woman caused so much pain,” seemingly referring to Tamra.
She also told Ryan she didn’t want Tamra at their wedding, signalling how deep the conflict had grown. As alliances shifted, the group questioned whether the past continued to affect their current relationships in The Real Housewives of Orange County.
The Real Housewives of Orange County trailer opened with all eight women connected to polygraph machines, setting the tone for a season focused on truth and accountability. Shannon said,
“There’s a snake in this group,” Shannon said.
As each woman prepared to answer difficult questions, Heather was asked, would she rather be a housewife of "Beverly Hills?” and while she didn’t respond, her facial reaction drew attention. The lie detector examiner later whispered, “She’s so full of s**t,” after observing one of the responses, while Emily shouted,
“Nobody believes you. Not even the lie detector test.”
These moments suggested that the lie detector tests became a key source of conflict, as cast members used the results to challenge one another’s honesty in The Real Housewives of Orange County.
In addition to the polygraph storyline, the group travelled to New Orleans and Amsterdam.during Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Tamra took part in the celebrations when someone asked her to show her chest. In Amsterdam, Jenn was shown walking through the Red Light District.
Meanwhile, Gretchen shared a personal story at a party, mentioning that she had once broken Slade’s p*nis, which he confirmed during the conversation. Between personal stories and group confrontations, the season blended serious accusations with lighter moments as the group navigated shifting relationships.
