General Hospital recap: What happened on July 21, 2025?

In the recent episode of the daytime soap opera General Hospital, which aired on Monday, July 21, 2025, a whirlwind of drama marked by a shocking resemblance, covert operations, and a major shake-up at Home & Heart.

Jason was shocked to see someone from the past while Josslyn was on a mission. Elsewhere,  Anna Devane and Dante Falconeri are convinced about Josslyn Jacks's involvement with the WSB.

Meanwhile, Jack surprises Carly, and Brook Lyn faces her mother.

The Britt Westbourne Mystery Deepens

As seen in the previous episode of General Hospital, Jason was at the airport when he spotted someone who looked like his dead ex-girlfriend, Britt Westbourne.

This uncanny resemblance sent Jason reeling, triggering a flood of memories from his past with Britt, including their deep connection and the heartbreak. In this episode, he tried to run after her and get a better look at the person who looked like Britt.

However, the airline did not allow him to board the Dubrovnik, Croatia. Further, when he boarded his flight back home. He started having flashbacks of his time with Britt Westbourne. 

Josslyn's Operations and Brennan's Schemes

Further on General Hospital, Jack surprises Carly with a private pool party and drinks on the side. Carly was stunned to see Jack making an effort.

Jack intended to do so as he wanted Carly to feel free to talk about things and tell her that he is there for her. They sipped their drinks and delved into conversations.

As the two got to talking, Carly shared the update on Sasha and Daisy, who have recently left Port Charles. Carly seemed sad about their departure, but was relieved at the thought that they were safe.  

Elsewhere, Josslyn Jacks, the newest member of WSB, came further into focus as she confronted Vaughn in Jack Brennan's office. She expressed how she does not approve of Jack’s relationship with Carly.

However, Vaughn insists on leaving them alone. Further, he received an insight that after their courier stop in Paris, they were heading to Dubrovnik, Croatia. The same place where Britt, or her lookalike, was seen heading. 

Anna and Dante grow suspicious

Meanwhile, Anna Devane and Dante Falconeri discussed Josslyn's involvement. Anna confirmed her suspicion that Josslyn was indeed working for the WSB.

Anna added that she believes that Jack Brenen had something to do with her involvement in the WSB.

Further, Dante was deeply troubled by the thought of Josslyn being used, especially given her emotional vulnerability. 

Lucy's Deception and Brook Lynn's Fury

Things really heated up on General Hospital when Home & Heart turned into a battleground, all thanks to Lucy Coe’s scheme being exposed, much to Brook Lynn Quartermaine's frustration.

Brook Lynn, already feeling the pressure of her on-air presentation, had no clue about Lucy's secret plan to bring Lois Cerullo back into the mix.

When Lois unexpectedly showed up on set, she offered what seemed like a sincere apology, claiming Lucy had made her think Brook Lynn was in on her return. 

Even though they tried to keep it friendly during a product segment, you could cut the tension with a knife. As soon as the cameras stopped rolling, Brook Lynn's pent-up anger boiled over.

She wasted no time firing Lois, accusing her of pulling an "on-air ambush," and stormed off, leaving Lucy with a serious warning.

This dramatic public firing and the fallout that follows are sure to have some major repercussions for Deception and everyone involved in General Hospital.
