Netflix Teases Pacific Rim: The Black, Based on the Giant Monster Film Franchise

The Pacific Rim film franchise, which pits giant monsters from another dimension against teams of humans piloting equally giant robot mech suits, is being revived as a Netflix anime series called Pacific Rim: The Black.

In this story, the kaiju have taken over Australia, and two siblings are fighting to survive in the resulting hellscape to try and find their parents. 

Pacific Rim: The Black premieres March 4 on Netflix.
