Fans of the 1990s series Boy Meets World are getting seriously juicy gossip from Pod Meets World, a podcast hosted by stars Will Friedle, Danielle Fishel, and Rider Strong. In a new interview with People, the trio discussed the rewatch podcast and the sitcom's long list of "phenomenal" guest stars, one of whom happened to be future Felicity star Keri Russell.

Fishel recalled that a then-unknown Russell played Mr. Feeny's (William Daniels) niece and eventual love interest of Friedle's character, Eric Matthews, in an early episode of Boy Meets World. The pair shared what would be Friedle's "first onscreen kiss," but unfortunately, it didn't go as planned.

"My first on-camera kiss, yes. It was crazy," Friedle said. "Our teeth bumped. I was mortified."

Russell's appearance on the 1993 episode of Boy Meets World was only her second screen credit. She would go on to become a Golden Globe-winning actress, appearing in shows like Felicity and The Americans, as well as films including Mission: Impossible III, Waitress, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

All seven seasons of Boy Meets World are currently streaming on Disney+.
