Person of interest in Charlie Kirk assassination spotted on neighborhood camera seemingly walking with a limp in a video obtained by TMZ

Videos and photos of the person of interest in the Charlie Kirk assassination case have surfaced.

    New updates regarding the person of interest in Charlie Kirk's assassination involved a bunch of security camera images and clips capturing him. In a footage captured on a neighborhood camera, a man, considered as the person of interest was seen limping and walking through a neighborhood near Utah Valley University.

    The video obtained by TMZ involved clips apparently from both before and after the shooting of Kirk. The individual in the clip was seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, had sunglasses on, and carried a backpack too. According to The Times Of India, the figure in these clips resembled the individual spotted in other photos.

    According to the FBI and Utah department of public safety, the unidentified man has become a "person of interest" in the case that is under ongoing investigation. The law enforcement officials have further announced a reward of $100,000 for someone who could give a breakthrough in the case.

    Investigating officers revealed some other information about the alleged gunman, claiming that he possibly was of "college age." They also added that they had managed to track his movements on the UVU campus, where the assasination took place. As of now, the authorities have not arrested anybody in connection to the incident that killed Charlie Kirk.

    Meanwhile, FBI special agent in charge Robert Bohls confirmed that they had recovered an imported Mauser .30-06 bolt action rifle, that possibly was used in the shooting. It reportedly was wrapped in a towel in the woods near the University campus.


    Everything that the investigating officers have revealed regarding the suspected gunman who assassinated Charlie Kirk

    As previously mentioned, investigators could track down the possible movements of the suspect around the time of the assasination. According to Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason, the alleged killer had blended into the college crowd easily, since he seemingly was of similar age.

    According to the law enforcement officials, he arrived at the UVU campus at about 11.52 am local time. This was around half an hour before Kirk was killed by a single bullet that struck him in the neck. He allegedly reached the rooftop through the stairwells and took his position to shoot at Kirk. Officials stated that immediately after the shooting, he jumped off and fled the scene.

    As of now, no motive could be officially identified by the authorities. However, according to Utah Governor Spencer Cox, this incident was a case of "political assassination." While Kirk was rushed to the hospital post the shooting, he succumbed to the injuries.

    Several notable figures had expressed shock and condolences over the sudden death of Kirk. This includes President Donald Trump, JD Vance, and Elon Musk, to name a few. A lot of netizens shared a similar take on the situation on social media platforms. Many criticized the act even though they were not supportive of Charlie Kirk's political ideologies.

    According to the BBC, JD Vance and his wife Usha Vance arrived at Salt Lake City, to retrieve Kirk's coffin.


    Charlie Kirk leaves behind his spouse Erika Lane Frantzve, whom he married in 2021, and his two children aged one and three.
