Memes targeting the viral Astronomer fiasco at a recent Coldplay concert have been creating an uproar on the internet.

Social media platforms cannot stop buzzing with content on Astronomer CEO Andy Byron caught on the Coldplay kiss cam with head of HR Kristin Cabot.

And now, even celebrities have joined the frenzy and reacted to the fiasco hilariously. Let's take a look at the infamous Coldplay moment and how netizens globally have been responding to it.

Why is Astronomer suddenly trending worldwide right now?

On July 17, Pop Base (@PopBase) shared a video of two Astronomer employees cuddling at a recent Coldplay show.

Hosted at the Gillette Stadium in Boston on July 16, 2025, the Coldplay concert caused a massive stir across the digital world after Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot were exposed on the kiss cam having an alleged affair.

After being caught while embracing each other and enjoying the energetic vibe at the venue, they were startled to be in the spotlight and tried to hide awkwardly.

Humorously, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin ignited the moment, expressing,

"Either they are having an affair or they are very shy."

Byron and Cabot's reaction to being caught on the large screen at the show is now viral, with tons of memes flooding the internet. The virality exceeded an uncontrollable extent, further prompting the CEO to resign from Astronomer.

The footage has exploded on most social media platforms, with netizens identifying the duo in the limelight. Memers all over the world leaned into the spectacle and have been joking about the pair allegedly having an affair.

Celebrities such as Luke Bryan and Morgan Wallen appear to be having a blast scrolling through the scandalized and high‑profile satire.

    Luke Bryan

Bryan is one of the first celebrities to publicly react to the controversial and alleged affair of the Astronomer CEO and head of HR. According to a report by the New York Post, the musician performed at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C., on July 17 and cheekily took a dig at the debacle.

A post shared by Country Now (@countrynow)

Poking fun at the much-talked-about incident at the Coldplay concert, the Play It Again singer said the next day,

"We're gonna shine our cameras on anybody. Who’s here with their secretary tonight? Hey, it’s gotta be someone way up there."

While the cameras began panning around fans at the entire concert, Luke funnily chimed in,

"Oh, yeah! There they are. Don’t get caught tonight!"

Taking jabs at the unexpected reveal at the Coldplay concert, he further repeated,

    "Do not get caught tonight."

It looks like social media users loved Bryan indirectly and harmlessly roasting the Astronomer CEO and HR head. Fans have flooded the Instagram video showing a clip of him making fun of the viral moment. As the outlet reported, an Instagrammer commented,

"The comment we knew we needed to hear live! Thanks for saying what we are all thinking."

    Another user remarked,

"The entire United States has come together once again and it’s amazing Lmdao!!!! The memes and spoof videos are gold"

Another user wrote in the comment section,

"That moment when Luke Bryan asks if we knew about the Coldplay concert situation"

Sharing how fun the hysteria is, a netizen commented,

"This scandal is the gift that keeps on giving"

    Morgan Wallen

On July 18, Morgan Wallen performed on his tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, according to a Us Weekly report. While performing his hit country songs, the singer also cracked jokes on Coldplay's kiss cam scandal, stating that fans attending his concert with a sidechick were probably safe from a compromising situation.

    He reacted,

"Anybody in here with their sidechick or whatever, I think you're safe here."

Later, the Thought You Should Know singer continued, adding,

    "I don't condone cheating … anymore!"

    Big Sean

Big Sean also commented on the Astronomer CEO and head of HR controversy while performing at Mansfield, Massachusetts’s Xfinity Center. Warning attendees to avoid such unexpected instances in the future, the rapper shared,

“You don't want to end up like the motherf**kers at the Coldplay concert."

Wishing no one finds themselves in a similar misconduct, he further noted,

"I hope none of y’all out here are f**king up right now. Do what you wanna do but have some respect!"

    Chad Kroeger

As Us Weekly reported, Kroeger also reacted to the alleged affair mess between two Astronomer employees. During his performance at the Summer of '99 and Beyond Festival at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Troy, Wisconsin, he shared a chucklesome suggestion for fans attending concerts, saying,

    "Just duck"

    Jason Aldean

While many singers added a laughable tone to the controversy during their shows, Jason used it as an interesting idea for promotions. Aldean is on the Full Throttle Tour presently, and he used the viral news to publicize his show. Hyping the upcoming performances on Instagram, he asked his supporters to

"bring your girl to the Aldean show before her CEO does."

    Russell Dickerson

The 2017 release song, Yours, is one of Russell's popular tracks. And he just made an entertaining comment on the Astronomy dispute using his song.

While performing on July 18 in Doswell, Virginia, as Us Weekly cited, he expressed,

"If anybody has walked down the aisle to this song, [or] if any CEOs have been to a concert, cheating with HR to this song."

Well, it wasn't all. Later, Dickerson made the ambience rib-tickling by making a minor change to one of the lyrics. He mockingly shared his idea to change "I came to life when I first kissed you" to "I came to life when I first kissed-cam’d you," prompting fans to laugh harder.

Astronomer set their facts straight in a recent statement, noting,

"As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding."

Further pointing out that their standards were not met, they added,

"Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met."

Announcing the former CEO's resignation, the statement confirmed that Pete DeJoy is now Astronomer's interim CEO, further adding,

"Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO."

Their official announcement emphasized branding the company as a "pioneer" and avoiding the ongoing internet frenzy so as not to affect its industry reputation. The announcement also clarified,

"Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI. While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not."

    The statement affirmingly concluded with,

"We're continuing to do what we do best: helping our customers with their toughest data and AI problems."

Kristin Cabot was also placed on immediate administrative leave, like the ex-CEO, after the major Coldplay concert fiasco. As of now, there have been no further updates on the head of HR. A Page Six report confirmed that Kristin can be seen wearing a wedding ring in her old pictures with her alleged husband, Andrew Cabot.
