The year of Kim Cattrall continues.
Fresh off How I Met Your Father and Queer as Folk, Cattrall has signed on to star in Netflix drama Glamorous in a series regular role.
Glamorous follows Marco Mejia (Miss Benny), a young, gender non-conforming queer man whose life is stuck in place until he lands a coveted job at a cosmetics company.
Cattrall will play makeup mogul Madolyn Addison, a veteran from the Golden Age of Supermodels and the founder and CEO of the prestigious boutique beauty brand that bears her name. Eager to shake up her brand, Madolyn sees an opportunity in Marco and takes him from the makeup counter to the boardroom, ruffling feathers along the way.
In addition to Cattrall, cast members announced Thursday include Zane Phillips (Fire Island) as Chad, Madolyn's son and Director of Sales, and Jade Payton (Dynasty) as Madolyn's ambitious assistant who takes Marco under her wing. Michael Hsu Rosen, Ayesha Harris, and Graham Parkhurst also serve as series regulars.
