Live streamer and YouTuber Jack Doherty was reportedly questioned by Child Protective Services for ‘abuse’ allegations outside his home. The interaction with CPS and law enforcement, which was captured in a live stream uploaded to streaming platform Parti, occurred on July 2.
In the live stream, Doherty could be seen interacting with his friends and an agent from Child Protective Services alongside two law enforcement officers outside what appeared to be his residence. While explaining the allegations to him, the CPS agent said,
“These allegations are kind of serious, and I do have to go one-on-one with you.”
After Doherty responded saying he doesn’t have a child, the agent said,
“I know, that’s why I [have] got to address this with you so we can just close out this case…It’s all confidential.”
The law enforcement officers explained that their presence is solely connected to protecting the CPS agent, and has nothing to do with Doherty.
Doherty could be heard asking,
“But like, what’s this about? I’m still confused.”
The officers and the agent explained that he would need to speak alone with the agent to clear some information. In the Parti liver stream, Doherty was then seen walking off with the agent to have a conversation with her.
After speaking to the Child Protective Services agent, Jack Doherty addressed the ongoing live stream, and said,
“She just asked me a bunch of questions to like confirm I wasn’t abusing children. And I was like, ‘dude is this like real life?’ But she like knows like what I do and everything. She’s like, ‘your whole life’s online, right?’”
Explaining that sometimes people mess with YouTubers and famous content creators, Doherty said,
“She knew that someone was f**cking with me. I was explaining to her too, I was like, ‘people like swat me all the time, and like order pizzas to my house’…this is different, like someone literally called the f**cking Child Protective Services sh*t and reported me.”
According to Cambridge dictionary, ‘swatting’ refers to when somebody makes a false report so that law enforcement is forced to respond to a hoax emergency.
Doherty, while responding to the phenomenon on his live stream, said,
“This is like a new thing unlocked for like the swatters.”
Doherty was questioned after one of his cars got wrecked the same day, captured in another video uploaded to the streamer’s YouTube channel. In a small clip uploaded on X, Doherty could be heard describing the scene of the crash. While standing in front of a wrecked baby blue BMW, he said,
“Alright guys, I just crashed another car. I think it’s officially time that I get off the road, but, hey, we got more at home, let’s go.”

When Doherty uploaded a longer video to his YouTube channel, it became clear that it was one of his friends, Michael that allegedly crashed the car and Doherty rushed on the scene to film the incident.
According to Dexerto, this is the second crash that Doherty has been involved in. Earlier, in October last year, Doherty reportedly wrecked his McLaren while filming.
