Brendan Gleeson isn't afraid to break the rules (or a few SNL set pieces).
In a kick-flip filled promo for this weekend's Saturday Night Live, the Irish actor lets his bad boy streak shine as he hops onto a skateboard and shreds in Studio 8H. "I'm Brendan Gleeson. Most people know me as an actor," says Gleeson. "But the real me is a skater."
Aided by the use of a sick fish-eye lens, 67-year-old Gleeson wreaks havoc on the set, rebelliously spraypainting over a "No Skateboarding" sign, knocking over cue cards, and ignoring the shouts from security (Molly Kearney). "Up yours, copper," Gleeson scoffs, shredding some more.
"Watch SNL this Saturday, motherf*ckers!" he signs off, cool as ever.
Gleeson, best known for his roles in In Bruges, Braveheart, Harry Potter, and Paddington 2, is currently promoting his new film The Banshees of Inisherin. The celebrated Irish actor hosts Saturday Night Live for the first time this weekend with musical guest Willow.
