Right-leaning political activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated in Utah, on September 10. Since then several speculations and conspiracy theories surrounding his death had been circulating all across social media platforms. Recently, an audio clip surfaced on X, suggesting that no autopsy was performed before issuing the death certificate.
In the clip, assumed to be a dispatch clip, a male voice was heard saying,
"So I did do the request, they emailed me back. He did not go in for an autopsy, the death certificate was signed by the doctor at the hospital."
While the video gained massive traction on social media, it is to note that Prime Timer could not verify the authenticity of the video that claimed that Kirk's autopsy was not performed. Meanwhile, several netizens shared their opinions on the situation as well, with many claiming that it was "mysterious."
One user even cited a response from Grok that mentioned an article by The Hindustan Times, that suggested that an autopsy had been performed. However, they too have clarified that they were citing the claims suggested by Grok, and that the outlet couldn't verify the authenticity of the same. Grok apparently then responded,
"Yes, an autopsy was performed on Charlie Kirk after his shooting death on September 10, 2025, as required by Utah law for homicides. The report hasn't been released publicly yet."
As previously mentioned, there have been multiple speculations regarding the assassination of the political activist. While authorities have arrested Tyler Robinson, as the suspected gunman, they are looking into further evidence and footage trying to fill up the gaps related to the incident.
According to reports by FOX News, since last week, investigating officers are trying to build a case against Robinson, tying him to the assassination. Peter Valentin, chair of the Forensic Science Department at the University of New Haven and a former Connecticut State Police detective, spoke to FOX News about the same and said that they needed to maintain some secrecy currently for the case.
Valentin added,
"[Investigators] have to find this happy medium about sharing information that the public needs to know while maintaining some level of secrecy... So you don’t give away whatever tactical advantage you have."
Valentin then continued that proper canvassing would be done by the officers involved in the case. The chair stated,
"Investigators are going to canvas the neighborhood and watch all that footage to see if there’s a vehicle making its way toward the campus, and then subsequently making its way from the campus after the shooting."
Valentin, however, did not make any comment about an autopsy or whether the reports would be released to the public or not.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated at the Utah Valley University, when he was taking up questions from a student. A memorial ceremony dedicated to the political activist was later organized on September 21, 2025, in Arizona. The event was even attended by President Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
No additional details are available as of now.
