Love Island UK returned with a new episode on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, continuing the aftermath of the latest dramatic recoupling. The episode opened with Islanders reacting to Toni’s unexpected decision to pair up with Harrison, leaving both Lauren and Cach blindsided.
Harrison had previously shared a connection with both, but his last-minute shift toward Toni stirred emotions and tension in the villa.
Lauren confronted Harrison shortly after the recoupling, telling him,
“I’ve wasted my whole time getting to know you for no reason.”
She added that his actions felt “disrespectful” and made her feel like “everything has been a lie.” Meanwhile, Cach addressed Toni directly, calling the situation one of the most embarrassing moments he had ever experienced.
He expressed disappointment that Toni appeared to wait for Harrison’s approval before making her decision.
Elsewhere in the episode, new couple Yasmin and Jamie were sent on their first date, heading out to paddleboard along the Mediterranean coast.
Back at the Love Island UK villa, Boris ended things with Billykiss, citing a lack of spark, before pursuing a connection with Emma.
After the ceremony, Harrison and Toni spoke to Lauren and Cach to explain what happened in Love Island UK.
Harrison said he felt confused between what he was thinking and what he truly felt, but in the end, he followed his heart.
Toni said the decision was not easy for her, but she wanted to be honest about her feelings.
Lauren told Harrison that she felt disrespected and started to doubt if what he had said to her earlier was true.
“I feel like everything has been a lie,” she shared.
Lauren made it clear that the recoupling had affected her view of their connection.
Cach also shared his feelings with Toni, expressing disappointment over how things turned out in Love Island UK.
He believed Toni had made her choice earlier but waited until she had reassurance. In the end, before walking away from the conversation.
“Good luck with your endeavours,” he said.
Later, Cach confided in Ty, becoming emotional. He said he hadn’t cried in years and was surprised by his own reaction.
Ty reassured him, telling him it was better to express emotions than to hide them, and that being vulnerable didn’t make him any less strong.
The next day, Jamie received a text inviting him and Yasmin on their first date outside the villa. The pair were taken to the beach, where they went paddleboarding in the sea.
Yasmin confidently stood on her board, joking that she felt like she was on "Titanic." Jamie, impressed by her skills,
“I think the posture is coming in clutch,” he shared.
After their time in the water, they sat down on the beach to talk about their connection and what they had learned about each other so far.
Jamie admitted he first thought Yasmin would always be intense, but was surprised to see a calmer side of her.
He said she seemed strong on the outside but soft inside, telling her,
“It’s not always a storm… it’s cotton wool inside.”
Meanwhile, Boris had a conversation with Billykiss back at Love Island UK villa. He shared that things no longer felt the same between them and suggested they explore new connections.
Billykiss agreed that the spark had faded and mentioned she felt the change had started with him.
Soon after, Boris asked Emma for a private chat in the Hideaway. They sat on the swing and spent time getting to know each other more deeply.
Later, they moved to the hot tub, where the conversation became more flirtatious. Emma sat on Boris’ lap, and the two shared their first kiss.
