Superstar singer Beyonce had her unreleased music stolen during her recent Cowboy Carter tour stop in Atlanta. According to Atlanta News First, the theft occurred on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, just two days before her scheduled concert at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Citing the incident report by the Atlanta PD, the outlet reported that the perps took off with five jump drives from Beyonce's choreographer, Christopher Grant's car.
The drives contained "watermarked music, some unreleased music, footage plans for the show, and past and future set lists."
Before Beyoncé’s Atlanta shows, thieves broke into the SUVs of her choreographer and one of her dancers to steal hard drives containing unreleased music, footage, plans for her shows, and more.

As news of the incident went viral, internet users were quick to react. One questioned:
"Why would her dancers have access to that???"
Many criticized the robbery, some even pointing out this would affect the songstress' future shows and music.
"She is never going to come back to Atlanta," one fan lamented.
"As much as we all want the visuals, there’s a proper way to do it!" another added.
"Oh we never going to get anything omg," a user noted.
Others joked that given that Beyonce hasn't released any music videos accompanying her recent albums (Renaissance and Cowboy Carter), this was the best chance to see the visuals.
"this is so scary …. where is break my soul mv," one joked.
"tbh this is the best chance we got at seeing the visuals and getting ACT III," another chimed in.
Some brought up Nicki Minaj's recent tirade against Jay-Z, speculating it was Minaj who was responsible.
"Somebody said Nicki sent her goonz," a user quipped.
"We all know who it was…," one commented alongside a gif of someone saying Nicki Minaj.
Citing the police report, Entertainment Weekly relayed that the incident involved Christopher Grant and one of Beyonce's touring dancers, Diandre Blue. The pair had parked Grant's rental Jeep Wagoneer at the parking deck at Atlanta's Krog Street Market.
Upon returning to the vehicle an hour later, they found its trunk window damaged. A quick search revealed two black suitcases had been stolen.
Per Grant, the luggage contained hard drives that included the Halo hitmaker's unreleased music and watermarked music, as well as footage plans and set lists for her shows.
Additionally, other items like a MacBook Pro, Apple headphones, a MacBook Air, and clothes and accessories were reported missing.
According to Entertainment Weekly, cops found two sets of fingerprints on the vehicle.
Further, the police report noted that security cameras in the area captured the incident.
Osman Bangura, the studio manager and marketing coordinator at Patchwerk Recording Studios, told Atlanta News First it was "unbelievable" that an artist of Beyonce's "magnitude" had her data stolen.
Calling the incident "crushing," he added:
"It takes so much to make these records, and the people that’s involved, different songwriters, different producers, so many different people are influential to make these records, and for that to be confiscated and taken the way it was... it’s hurtful to the whole team."
Citing a press release by the police, the outlet relayed that authorities had "secured an arrest warrant for a suspect." However, their identity has not been made public as of this writing.
Per the outlet, officers think the suspect could have been driving a red 2025 Hyundai Elantra with Georgia plates.
Despite the setback, Beyonce continued with her scheduled July 10 concert in Atlanta. She is currently on the last leg of her Cowboy Carter Tour, with a final show on July 26 in Paradise, Nevada.
