Late Night Hosts Unite to Tackle Climate Change

  • For the first time ever, hosts from every late night show united to address climate change in a special night of programming dubbed "Climate Night." Each host had their own take on the matter: Jimmy Kimmel handed the show over to a group of real climate scientists (watch above), Stephen Colbert railed against "aging politicians and meat eaters" standing in the way of effective climate policy, and Samantha Bee divulged "climate change's dirty little secret" in a segment about sewage.

Elsewhere across the late night landscape, The Daily Show host Trevor Noah also sat down with Greta Thunberg, Seth Meyers exposed Sen. Joe Manchin's extreme conflict of interest with regard to the coal industry in "A Closer Look,", and Jimmy Fallon and James Corden chatted with Dr. Jane Goodall and Bill Gates, respectively.

Late night hosts will return to their regularly-scheduled programming tonight, but hopefully, they will continue to include material about the dire consequences of climate change for many days, and months, to come.
