Minutes after the verdict was read in the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial Wednesday, Fox and TMZ announced a new special focused on the famous ex-couple.

TMZ and its army of roving video paparazzi have been following the Depp-Heard saga long before their headline-making televised trial gripped the nation. The new special is set to highlight memorable moments from the trial, plus video captured by TMZ before, during and after the duo's doomed marriage.

Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard: From Love to Hate is scheduled to air on Fox next Tuesday June 7th at 9:00 PM ET, and will be posted to the network's free streaming platform Tubi afterwards.

The network released a short teaser in conjuction with its announcement:

As we've previously reported, Discovery+ announced plans for its own trial special earlier this week, a sequel to its recently released docuseries about Depp's earlier trial in the UK, in which he unsuccessfully sued The Sun for using the phrase "wife beater" to describe him. A release date has not yet been set for the Discovery+ special.

Jed Rosenzweig is the Founder and Publisher of Primetimer.
