Syfy Will Air Cult Favorites Quantum Leap and Battlestar Galactica Every Friday

'SYFY Rewind' comes just in time for the Quantum Leap sequel on NBC.
  • In advance of NBC's Quantum Leap reboot series, Syfy channel is going back in time with "Syfy Rewind" Fridays. Starting May 13, Syfy will air marathons of cult classics, including the original Quantum Leap, Battlestar Galactica, Xena: Warrior Princess, and more.

Syfy Rewind will take place from 6 AM-6 PM ET every Friday. The marathon event kicks off with time travel drama Quantum Leap, which premiered in 1989 and aired for five seasons.

On Thursday, NBC announced that it has given a series order to its Quantum Leap sequel pilot starring Raymond Lee. The sequel will follow a new team that has been assembled to restart Dr. Sam Beckett's (Scott Bakula) project in the hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the Quantum Leap accelerator and those who created it.
