In honor of the network's 30th anniversary, Syfy has announced a new lineup featuring two new original scripted series and several returning shows.

Newcomers Reginald the Vampire and The Ark will be joining the network's lineup in the coming months. Based on Johnny B. Truant’s Fat Vampire book series, Reginald the Vampire is a dramedy starring Spiderman actor Jacob Batalon as Reginald Andres, who becomes an unlikely hero in a world of glamorous vampires. The series also stars Mandela Van Peebles and Em Haine.

The Ark, a Dean Devlin (Independence Day, Godzilla) drama set in space 100 years in the future, follows the colonization mission of the spacecraft Ark One as it experiences a devastating catastrophe. Starring in the series are Christie Burke, Richard Fleeshman, Reece Ritchie, Stacey Read, and Ryan Adams.

As for returning series, Syfy welcomes back horror sequel Chucky, the sci-fi dramedy Resident Alien, and paranormal drama SurrealEstate. Chucky and Resident Evil are expected to air new episodes later this year, while SurrealEstate returns for Season 2 in 2023.
