Percy Jackson and the Olympians has added a few big names to its cast. Variety reported on Thursday that Megan Mullally, Jason Mantzoukas, Virginia Kull, Glynn Turman, and Timm Sharp will appear in recurring guest roles in the upcoming Disney+ adaptation of Rick Riordan's book series.
Previously announced cast members include Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, and Leah Sava Jeffries, who will play the series' central trio.
Mullally will play Alecto, a.k.a. Mrs. Dodds, Percy's strict math teacher who is also one of the three Furies serving Hades, the god of the underworld. Mantzoukas will portray Dionysus, a.k.a. Mr. D, who runs Camp Half Blood, a camp for demigods, while Kull will play Sally Jackson, Percy's mother.
Turman joins the cast as Chiron, a.k.a. Mr. Brunner, Percy's Latin teacher who is also a centaur and hero trainer. Finally, Sharp will play Gabe Ugliano, Sally's selfish husband and Percy's stepfather.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians is currently in production in Vancouver.
