Jeopardy! host Mayim Bialik has tested positive for COVID-19, she announced on Instagram on Monday.

Bialik noted that she is experiencing symptoms, including chest tightness, and explained she is immunocompromised and suffers from asthma and a thyroid condition.

In a follow-up video posted on Tuesday, the Jeopardy! host told viewers, "I'm feeling a little bit better. Still some congestion. A little less exhausted than yesterday, which was a nice treat to not have to sleep as much as I felt like sleeping."

Bialik's 16-year-old son has also been diagnosed with COVID-19.

A representative for Jeopardy! confirmed to Primetimer that the show has finished filming for the season, so Bialik's diagnosis will not affect production.

Jeopardy! airs weeknights in syndication, with new episodes airing through July.
