Big Ten changes its mind, announces plans to play college football this fall amid pandemic

Under pressure from players, coaches and politicians like President Trump, the Big Ten conference announced it would kick off the season the weekend of Oct. 24, reversing an August decision not to play in the fall. The league cited the imminent availability of rapid antigen tests for COVID-19 that can be administered on a daily basis.
