The Big Ten's 14 schools join 27 college football teams in opting not to play college football this fall amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Pac-12 conference is also expected to postpone its fall college football season. “As time progressed … it became abundantly clear there was too much uncertainty regarding potential medical risks to allow our student-athletes to compete this fall," said Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren.
