Kevin O'Leary commented on the Jeffrey Epstein files on the CNN NewsNight show on Monday (July 21, 2025). The Shark Tank judge insisted that the average American doesn't care about the case or the victims.
When the CNN anchor Abby Phillip brought up that 63% of Americans stated in a survey that they were unhappy with the way the country is being run, and 83% of Republicans wanted the Epstein files to be released, Kevin O'Leary stated that Americans are busy working instead.
He went on to say that "nobody" gave "a poop" about the files, and seemingly dismissed the victims, saying perhaps they weren't r*ped. Kevin O'Leary also called the case "poop on a stick" and said it won't help "the economy."
While other panelists claimed Donald Trump promised to release the files, and it would bring justice to the victims, Kevin O'Leary insisted that even if the Epstein files are released, the man himself would be "dead."
"The average American, awake for 18 hours a day, how many minutes do you think they spend worrying about this stuff? Maybe they were r*ped, maybe they weren't. This is not what American families give a damn about. They just don't care... Nobody gives a poop. Worst case scenario, all this stuff's true. Does that in any way affect the American economy?" Kevin O'Leary said.

On July 22, 2025, CNN reviewed unreleased pictures of Trump and Jeffrey Epstein from 1993. That year, the US President married his second wife, Marla Maples, who was a model.
The photos confirm that Jeffrey Epstein attended the wedding at the Plaza Hotel in New York.
Dafydd Jones, the photographer who took the photos, told CNN that he wished he had taken more pictures. He also shared that the negatives of the photos he took were lost.
"I wish now I took more of him with Trump. I had the job of photographing the Trump wedding, so I stood with the press and photographed him. The image you have is from the contact sheet, the negatives were lost," the photographer said.
When the media outlet reached out to Donald Trump, he called the pictures "fake." Steven Cheung, the White House Communications Director, told CNN that Trump "kicked out" Epstein for being a "creep."
Cheung also claimed that the stories of Donald Trump being friends with the late accused sex trafficker are reportedly false and created by the Democrats and "the liberal media."
"The fact is that the president kicked him out of his club for being a creep. This is nothing more than a continuation of the fake news stories concocted by the Democrats and the liberal media," Cheung said.
For the unversed, Donald Trump has repeatedly denied the rumors of his alleged friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.
On July 16, 2025, he bashed his supporters on Truth Social for demanding the release of Epstein files. He also called the conspiracy regarding Jeffrey Epstein a "hoax."
