Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s (RFK Jr.) cousin, Jack Schlossberg, recently trolled the former's wife, Cheryl Hines, in a series of social media posts. Taking to his X account (@JBKSchlossberg) on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, Schlossberg wrote:

"I have never met Cheryl Hines but if I did I’d tell her she looks super dehydrated."

Schlossberg is the only grandson of former President John F. Kennedy. His mother, Caroline Kennedy, is a diplomat, and his father is designer and author Edwin Schlossberg. He has been vocal about his criticism of RFK Jr. and his policy positions throughout the election cycle.

Jack continued to call out Hines' support of her husband's anti-vaccine stance. Referencing the recent measles outbreak in Texas, he shared an Instagram post with Hines' picture with the message:

"Congrats!!!! Most measles cases in 33 years."

    He continued:

"Couldn’t have done it without you bae."

Jack Schlossberg previously called out Cheryl Hines's support of RFK Jr. after an unvaccinated child died in Texas

Cheryl Hines is an actress and comedian best known for her role on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm. She began dating Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in December 2011 after being introduced to him by her co-star, Larry David. The couple announced their engagement in April 2014 and married in August of the same year.

Hines has supported RFK Jr. as he campaigned for Trump. She also accompanied him to a Senate Finance Committee confirmation hearing ahead of his appointment as the president's health secretary. Cheryl Hines also joined him during the Make America Healthy Again ball in Washington, D.C., in January.

This is not the first time Jack Schlossberg has criticized Cheryl Hines. In March 2025, he took to his Instagram to share a video (since deleted) calling out Hines for the death of an unvaccinated child in Texas due to the measles outbreak. Addressing the actress, he stated:

"We’ve never met, but I’ve got a favor to ask. I need you to call up the family of the child who died of measles, and say sorry. Can you do that for me, babe?"

He continued to note that "almost every single case of measles" at the time was someone who was not vaccinated. He added that this made her the perfect person to apologize.

Following the outbreak, RFK Jr. penned an opinion piece for Fox News (March 2025) where he advocated for getting the MMR vaccine, despite his previous stance against it. However, he added that getting the shot should be a "personal" choice, noting the risks of measles if unvaccinated.

Notably, the article came after he downplayed the measles outbreak (a week before), stating it was "not unusual" in the U.S. The last time someone died from measles was in 2015, according to the Associated Press. Further, in 2025, the U.S. posted the highest measles case tally in 33 years, per The Guardian.

When RFK Jr. dropped out of the 2024 election race and endorsed his support for President Donald Trump, Schlossberg slammed the move in an X post. Stating that he had never been "less surprised," he added:

"Been saying it for over a year — RFKjr is for sale, works for Trump. Bedfellows and loving it. Kamala Harris is for the people — the easiest decision of all time just got easier."

Cheryl Hines, for her part, supported her husband despite previously expressing her disdain for Trump. She even told the Hollywood Reporter she thought she was "not going to make it" through his first term.

Per the outlet, Cheryl Hines also took the COVID-19 vaccine, unlike Kennedy Jr., but added:

"I did what I needed to do to work. If I wasn’t working, would things be different? Maybe. I’m not the kind of person that gets the flu shot."

It is worth noting that not only Schlossberg, but five of RFK Jr.'s siblings criticized his move. They called his endorsement of Trump a "betrayal of the values" their father and their family stood for.

Neither Hines nor RFK Jr. has publicly reacted to Schlossberg's posts.
