Singer Justin Bieber dropped his seventh studio album, SWAG, at midnight on Friday, July 11, 2025. The release came just hours after the crooner announced the project and its track list in an Instagram post.
The 21-track album features guest appearances by Gunna, Lil B, and Sexyy Red, among others. Notably, Druski collaborated on three songs-SOULFUL, THERAPY SESSION, and STANDING ON BUSINESS.
According to Stereogum, Bieber handled the production with assists from Carter Lang, Dylan Wiggins, and others.

As news of the project went viral, netizens were quick to zero in on the track STANDING ON BUSINESS. The title comes from Justin Bieber's recent "standing on business" viral moment with persistent paparazzi near the Soho House in Miami.
After unsuccessfully asking the photographers to respect his boundaries, the exasperated singer told them:
"You’re not getting it. It’s not clocking to you. It’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business, is it?"
In light of the album and the aforementioned track, internet users speculated that the confrontation was a marketing move on Bieber's end. One wrote:
"Oh no, I fear that he's a marketing genius-"
Some netizens suggested that Justin Bieber naming his track after the viral meme ended up ruining it.
"the prime example of memes become unfunny once celebrities ruin it," one commented.
"And just like that the meme is over…" another chimed in.
Others questioned the singer's choice to collaborate with Druski on the song.
"Druski standing on business is hilarious and oxymoronic," a person joked.
"Druski on a track? This about to be the most unserious banger ever," one user suggested.
Here are some more reactions.
"This album is either going to be so amazing or a catastrophic f**king mess. No in between," another added.
"This is so unserious," a person noted.
Justin Bieber announced his new project, sharing multiple Instagram posts of billboards across multiple cities.
The advertisement featured the word "SWAG" with a list of tracks on the project.
Some of the billboards also included a black-and-white picture of Bieber alongside Hailey Bieber, who held their 11-month-old son, Jack Blues, in her arms.
According to Variety, the said advertisements were displayed on billboards across Iceland, Atlanta, NYC, and Los Angeles.
Justin Bieber continued to promote the project in his IG stories, sharing what seems to be the photoshoot for the album's art.
The photos heavily featured the singer and his family.
Hailey, too, reposted one of Justin Bieber's posts on her stories with a cheeky reference to his viral moment, writing:
"Is it finally clocking to you f**king losers?
The aforementioned confrontation with the paparazzi and Bieber's recent social media posts led many to express concern about his mental health.
This led some fans to even speculate on the couple's relationship. The Rhode founder's story seemingly laid the rumors to rest, noting that she was supporting her partner.
It is worth noting that this is Justin Bieber's first album in four years after 2021's Justice. The project debuted atop the charts and spurred the beloved hit Peaches.
Following its release, the singer was set to begin his Justice World Tour, but health issues led to him canceling the same.
According to Pitchfork, the move subsequently led to financial issues, and Bieber's then-manager, Scooter Braun, reportedly paid $20 million that he owed the tour’s promoter.
Since then, Justin Bieber has sporadically released music. This included collaborations with SZA on Snooze (Acoustic) in September 2023 and 2020's Up at Night with Kehlani.
During the interlude, the singer also welcomed his son with Hailey.
In the months leading to the project's release, the Peaches crooner frequently shared photos taken at a studio. This led fans to believe Justin Bieber had been working on new music.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the singer also hosted several "jam sessions" at his home in Los Angeles.
Musicians like DJ Tay James, Carter Lang, and producer Dylan Wiggin were among the notable personalities that attended these events.
Citing "sources," the outlet relayed that Justin Bieber was headed to a "Nordic country" to finish his new album.
SWAG is available to stream online.
