Rapper 4xtra (a.k.a. Resan), best known for co-hosting the No Jumper podcast, reportedly lost two fingers in a firecracker accident this Fourth of July. On Friday, Resan took to his Instagram to share a video holding two fireworks while joking about "blowing somebody up."

However, hours later a gruesome image of the rapper holding his injured arm began circulating online. According to Complex magazine, which first reported the news, No Jumper's X soon account shared a post suggesting he had "blown off his hand with a firework." Fans have since speculated that it was the same fireworks he showed off in the video.

On Sunday, Resan's sister, Emily, started a GoFundMe campaign to help the rapper with his medical expenses. It has currently raised over $7,500 out of its $30,000 goal.

4xtra's No Jumper co-host Adam22 suggested he was also temporarily blinded in the accident

On Friday, 4xtra shared a video on Instagram showing two firecrackers and stating:

"Dead homies, who wanna get blown up today, n**ga," adding, "I'm throwin 'em at your house. I'm throwin 'em at ya... Imma blow your a** up!"

Notably, according to Hot New Hip Hop, the fireworks were allegedly illegal.

A few hours later, a viral image showing his injured hand went viral. According to the Independent, No Jumper’s X account, too, posted that picture with a message suggesting the rapper had "reportedly blown off his hand with a firework."

No Jumper owner Adam Grandmaison (a.k.a. Adam22), who co-hosts the show with 4xtra, shared a tweet clarifying that the rapper had supposedly lost only "2 fingers and not the whole hand," writing:

"I’m hearing that 4xtra only lost 2 fingers not the whole hand. Also he was blind for a few hours but apparently his vision is back."

Resan's sister Emily, in her GoFundMe page, sought help for her brother's medical expenses following the accident. However, neither she nor the rapper has publicly clarified the exact extent of his injuries. A note on the campaign page read:

"Resan is someone who lights up every room with his humor and energy. If you've ever laughed with him, shared a moment, or simply care about his well-being, Any support-from donations to prayers or even just sharing this-means the world to us."

It is worth noting that Adam22 is one of the top donors, donating $1,000 to the cause, per the fundraiser's webpage.

4xtra rose to prominence appearing on the No Jumper podcast. Known for his unfiltered exchanges and freestyles, the rapper gained a loyal following on the show. During one of the episodes, he revealed he was a member of the Rollin’ 40s Crips. He is known in the West Coast hip-hop community for his gritty lyrics. Per his social media profile, some of his hits include OFF THE BACC.

4xtra's injury is one of the many challenges No Jumper has been facing recently. Back in January, Adam announced that the company would be undergoing layoffs due to the "two major L's" they experienced. First, their page on Instagram was taken down, and they were sued by former employee Yuriy, per Complex. The brand has since downsized, closing stores and warehouses.
