Celebrity IOU season 10 premiered on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, on HGTV. Hosted by Drew and Jonathan Scott, the six-episode season brings in a new group of celebrities who surprise people close to them with special home makeovers. New episodes air every Wednesday until August 13, 2025.

In the first episode, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan teamed up with the Property Brothers to renovate the kitchen and dining area of her best friend’s parents, Ron and Robin.

On the show, Brosnahan shared that they feel like second parents to her and have been dealing with health problems, which made this surprise very special.

Drew Scott said they hope the show encourages people watching to “give back in their own lives.” Whether it’s a big renovation or a small gesture, the idea is to show love and thanks to those who matter.

This season also includes Tyra Banks, Josh Gad, Joel McHale, Jane Seymour, and Shaun White.

Each one joins the Scott brothers to design a new space for someone important to them, keeping the show’s theme of giving and gratitude.

Rachel Brosnahan transforms a kitchen and dining room for her best friend’s parents in Celebrity IOU

In the season premiere episode of Celebrity IOU season 10, Rachel Brosnahan, joined by Drew and Jonathan Scott, renovated the kitchen and dining area for her best friend’s parents, Ron and Robin.

The episode aired on July 9, 2025, and Brosnahan described Ron and Robin as her second parents, saying they’ve played an important role in her life.

Interrupting Ron and Robin's house renovations, Brosnahan explained they're dear friends, and they've supported her through the years, including recent health issues they have been experiencing, checking off a way to give back.

Brosnahan took the lead in demolition, construction, and decorating throughout the episode, according to the work of the Property Brothers.

Jonathan noted how emotional each story tends to be, saying,

“Every episode of Celebrity IOU is a tear-jerker.”

Drew indicated the show was aiming to do more than just fixing homes, he also indicated the show hoped to inspire an appreciation for the people that matter in our lives.

That was clear in the case of the Rachel Brosnahan episode, where she teamed up with Drew and Jonathan Scott to surprise her best friend's parents Ron and Robin.

Brosnahan shed light on how Ron and Robin had always given her love and care, and she wanted to improve Ron and Robin's everyday lives with a new kitchen and dining space.

She shared her many ideas and helped with the design process, while the Scott siblings worked to make use of all of Brosnahan's design while ensuring a functional, charming feel.

The final reveal showed Ron and Robin reacting with surprise and emotion. Brosnahan also became emotional, saying how much it meant to her to do something special for them.

The episode showed what the series is all about—giving back with love and care through thoughtful changes.

New episodes of Celebrity IOU to feature Tyra Banks, Josh Gad, Joel McHale, and more

Following Rachel Brosnahan’s premiere, Celebrity IOU season 10 will continue with five more episodes featuring a new celebrity each week.
