Ted Lasso's Jason Sudeikis Accepts Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Hoodie

  • The wardrobe choices for the mostly-virtual Golden Globe Awards were all over the map, and one such example is in this clip of Jason Sudeikis accepting the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy for his work in Ted Lasso. He's just wearing a tie-dyed hoodie, although it did have some significance, as it bears the logo of his sister Kristin Sudeikis' dance company Forward.

There has also been speculation, due to the redness of his eyes and the rambling nature of his acceptance speech that quoted Tolstoy and even said "I kind of reject the premise of being the Best Actor," that he may have been under the influence of some sort of recreational brain chemistry alteration. Even his fellow nominee Don Cheadle had to signal that he should wrap it up, which Sudeikis took in stride, noting that his Aunt Loretta would call him "a little windy."
