Lost Siblings Find a Giant Robot Suit in Netflix's Pacific Rim: The Black Trailer

Netflix has released a full trailer for Pacific Rim: The Black, their anime revival of the Pacific Rim film franchise pitting giant kaiju monsters from another dimesnion against teams of human beings piloting equally giant mech suits.

The clip shows a brother and sister who barely escaped a kaiju attack with their lives struggling to figure out whether or not to stay in hiding and wait to be rescued (or to die), or to strike out to try and find their parents. The discovery of one of those giant mech suits, known in this world as Jaegers, makes that decision for them. We also learn that there are now "small kaiju" monsters, which seems like an oxymoron until you learn the word just means "strange creature" in Japanese.

Pacific Rim: The Black premieres March 4 on Netflix.
