Derrick and Angela expressed their thoughts on ending their relationship and going their separate ways on their Instagram stories.

White shared an emotional message, penning it on her story.

"After much prayer and reflection, Derrick and I have decided to call off the engagement. We love each other deeply and are good friends, but we both believe that God's guidance has shown us that this is the right path for both of us, as we each continue our journeys."

She further wrote,

"May we find peace and fulfillment in His divine will, trusting that His plan is greater than our own."

Milano has also commented on the mutual breakup on his official Instagram handle and expressed,

"After much prayer and reflection, Angela and I have decided to call off the engagement. We love each other deeply and are good friends, but we both believe that God's guidance has shown us that this is the right path for both of us, as we each continue our journeys. Derrick Milano and Angela White began dating in May 2023. Last year, on October 18, the musician proposed to her beau at Howard University’s Yardfest concert in Washington, D.C., according to a People report.

He got down on one knee and popped the question, saying,

"Baby you should let me love you, love you, love you"

Milano announced his engagement on Instagram, sharing a heartfelt caption. He penned, as People cited,

"Angela Renee White, I can go on and on about how much you mean the world to me & never get tired of it."

The Grammy-winning hitmaker further continued,

Milano's professional career in the music industry started over a decade ago in 2013. In these years, the artist has amassed an impressive wealth of $10 million.

As per the Celebrity Net Worth report, he explored his passion to pursue his creative aspect during his younger years. He participated in rap competitions with his friends while he was in his teens. Later, he also performed in the Concord High choir. 

Since his debut, he has established himself as a rapper and a musician on the scene with several hits, including his first mixtape, Casanova, in 2013. He was studying at the University of Central Florida when he released Casanova, according to a South China Morning Post (SCMP) post.

Despite it being a well-received mixtape, he could not drop new music in the next two years due to a conflict with the management team. Unfortunately, he was restricted from using a professional studio to record his music. With no solutions, he headed back to him and worked on producing his next releases.
