Trevor Noah isn't wasting any time moving on from The Daily Show

The writer-comedian announced today that he was returning to Netflix for comedy special I Wish You Would. Filmed in Toronto, Canada, the special spotlights Noah as he "hilariously shares revelations about learning to speak German, modern communication, and his love for curry."

I Wish You Would marks Noah's third comedy special with the streamer, following 2018's Son of Patricia and 2017's Afraid of the Dark. Noah surprised viewers last month when he announced he would be leaving The Daily Show after over seven years as host. He told Jimmy Fallon he planned on doing "everything" following his departure from the Comedy Central show, including "drumming lessons" from Questlove, stand-up comedy around the world, producing, and spending more time with his family in South Africa.

Noah's last day as host of The Daily Show is Thursday, December 8.

I Wish You Would premieres on Netflix November 22.
