The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has set its director slate for Season 2.
Amazon Prime Video announced today that Charlotte Brändström, Sanaa Hamri, and Louise Hooper would take on directing duties for the second season, each helming multiple episodes. This brings the total count of Season 2 episodes to eight, matching the eight episodes seen from Season 1. Production on the upcoming season is currently in full swing in the United Kingdom. The series has added a slew of new cast members, including Sam Hazeldine (Peaky Blinders, The Sandman), who will replace Joseph Mawle as Orc leader Adar, Ben Daniels (The Crown, The Exorcist), and many more.
