A public memorial service for Grammy-winning country star Naomi Judd, who passed away on April 30 at the age of 76, will air live this Sunday on CMT. The Country Music Hall of Fame inductee will be honored by her daughters, Wynonna and Ashley Judd, and her husband Larry Strickland during a televised memorial special titled Naomi Judd: A River of Time Celebration. CMT announced that the commercial-free special, which will be filmed at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, aims to honor the life and legacy of the country music icon.

“We are sincerely privileged to work alongside Wynonna, Ashley and Larry to present this live celebration of life for their mother and wife Naomi," CMT producers said. "While we all continue to deeply mourn the loss of such a legendary artist, we are honored to commemorate her legacy alongside the country community, her friends, family and legions of fans across the world at the perfect venue: The Mother Church of Country Music. This special will celebrate her timeless voice, unforgettable spirit and the immense impact she left on our genre through the best form of healing we have – music.”

Additional details, such as performers and special guests, will be announced in the coming days. Naomi Judd: A River of Time Celebration airs commercial-free on Sunday, May 15th at 6 PM ET.
