Private detective drama Moonlighting is finally heading to streaming.

After teasing a Moonlighting announcement earlier this week, show creator Glenn Gordon Caron has announced that the series is officially being prepared to stream.

"It's an ambitious project. Lots of moving parts. And it could take quite a while. But I wanted you to be the first to know," Caron continued. "No word yet on where or when you'll be seeing it --- but it's happening!"

The show had struggled to make the leap to streaming reportedly due to music rights, but Caron's tweets imply that the team is working through these issues to make Moonlighting available on a streamer near you.

Moonlighting ran for five seasons in the late 1980s and served as a star vehicle for Bruce Willis (as well as a relaunch for a then-stalled Cybill Shepherd).
