The cast of Percy Jacskon and the Olympians continues to grow.

Jay Duplass (TransparentThe ChairIndustry) and Timothy Omundson (Psych) are the latest additions to the cast of the Disney+ series. They will star as Hades and Hephaestus, respectively.

Per the official character descriptions, "Hades feels like an outcast from his family and a misunderstood genius. He holds a grudge for past wrongs and plays his cards close to the chest," while god of blacksmiths Hephaestus's "strength is legendary, and his capacity for kindness and mercy sets him apart from his brothers and sisters in the dog-eat-dog world of the gods."

The pair joins previously announced cast members Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, Leah Sava Jeffries, Virginia Kull, Glynn Turman, Jason Mantzoukas, Megan Mullally, Timm Sharp, Dior Goodjohn, Olivea Morton, Charlie Bushnell, as well as Adam Copeland, Suzanne Cryer, Jessica Parker Kennedy, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Based on Rick Riordan's best-selling book series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians chronicles the adventures of 12-year-old Percy ( Scobell), who discovers he is the son of Greek god Poseidon and soon finds himself training to become a hero alongside other demigods. The pilot is written by Riordan and Jon Steinberg.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians debuts on Disney+ in 2024.
