Rapper Azealia Banks caused a stir online by posting what she says are private messages and explicit photos from Conor McGregor. McGregor is a former MMA fighter, now a political candidate. Banks shared the posts on X, which used to be called Twitter, and her account ended up suspended for 12 hours.

McGregor, who has mostly stepped back from professional fighting, is in the race for Ireland's 2025 presidential election. His campaign focuses on anti-immigration issues and far-right policies. Polls show he is not a top contender in the election. McGregor keeps pushing his campaign and stays active in the public eye.

"Who wants Azealia Banks to be First Lady of Ireland?" she joked. "Yall would gag."

Azealia Banks shared some screenshots on Monday, which she said were messages from McGregor. These screenshots included what she claimed were nude photos. Later, she posted again, questioning what he was trying to achieve. She mentioned his political career and hinted that the alleged messages seemed out of place with his public image.

"Girl shut up and just enjoy the d*ck pic. No one is trying to get political," the rapper wrote. "The world needs more men strong enough to hold a barbell on their dingaling. You probably can't keep pi*s [off] your b*lls. I know ur trying to be the f*ggot virtue signalling in the name of straight men but they f*ck annoying twink b*tches like you in private and leave thirsty bottoms like you alone on Christmas for a REASON honey. For f*cks sake."

After people saw what she shared, many criticized her for leaking the images. One person even said she crossed a boundary by exposing private matters. Banks, however, defended what she did. She hit back at the backlash using bold and explicit language that ended up grabbing even more attention.

Azealia Banks joked online about becoming the “First Lady of Ireland,” poking fun at McGregor’s rumored political ambitions. Her comment seemed like a playful dig at the chatter about their supposed exchange.

Banks didn’t explain when or where she got the alleged messages, but she hinted that McGregor may have warned her not to share them. She called out his actions and made remarks about his reputation and his political goals.
By Tuesday, McGregor hadn’t talked about the drama. Instead, he posted pictures of himself celebrating his 37th birthday on a yacht, looking like he wasn’t paying attention to the buzz online.

The incident happened while both individuals faced growing public attention. McGregor faces it due to his political campaign, and Azealia Banks faces it because of her online activity and bold statements. Whether this will lead to legal or political outcomes is still unknown.
