WWE star Charlotte Flair to star in USA's remake of Walking Tall

Battlestar Galactica executive producer David Eick is developing the potential series starring the daughter of WWE legend Ric Flair as "a Tucson cop who finds herself caught in a web of fraud, exploitation and murder, and is forced to go full vigilante to protect her home town from falling victim to modern corruption," according to Deadline. Walking Tall is based on the 1973 film starring Joe Don Baker, which was into a short-lived 1981 NBC drama series. Dwayne Johnson starred in a 2004 remake of the film. Walking Tall will be made as a two-hour movie that might be picked up to series.
