Veteran TV producer calls for TV shows to boycott Georgia if an anti-LGBTQ law passes

“To my fellow showrunners: if this dumb bill becomes law, let’s be done filming television shows in Georgia,” tweeted Ben Wexler, former showrunner for The Comedians and The Grinder. He was referring to a bill that passed the Georgia senate that would ban gays and lesbians from adopting children. Georgia is home to numerous shows thanks to its tax breaks, including Stranger Things, The Walking Dead and Atlanta.
