Neil Patrick Harris to lead Darren Star's Netflix comedy Uncoupled

The How I Met Your Mother alum is returning to the series TV comedy worled with Uncoupled, which Netflix ordered in May. Star created Uncoupled with Modern Family executive producer Jeffrey Richman. Harris will play Michael, "who thought his life was perfect until his husband blindsides him by walking out the door after 17 years," per Deadline. "Overnight, Michael has to confront two nightmares — losing what he thought was his soulmate and suddenly finding himself a single gay man in his mid-forties in New York City." Uncoupled will mark Harris' return to Netflix after starring as Count Olaf in the 2017-2019 dramedy A Series of Unfortunate Events.
