Legendary WWE interviewer "Mean" Gene Okerlund dies at 76

Okerlund, who also worked for the WCW, became famous starting in 1984 for interviewing wrestlers like Hulk Hogan. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006 by Hogan. “WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Gene Okerlund, the most recognizable interviewer in sports-entertainment history, has passed away,” the WWE said in a statement.
