John Oliver slams Disney CEO Bob Chapek's response to Florida "Don't Say Gay" bill as "bullsh*t" and "actively insulting"

The Disney CEO told shareholders last week, before his apology, that “when we donate money to different political candidates we have no idea how they’re going to vote going forward into the future.” But as Oliver points out, one of the bill's co-authors has been openly anti-gay. “That is such bullshit, it is actively insulting!” Oliver said, pointing out that when corporations donate money to politicians, they “generally know what the recipient is going to do with it.”
