The Last Week Tonight host tackled how conservative media, particularly Fox News, have formed a feedback loop when it comes to coronavirus misinformation. “The problem is Trump is the subject of this misinformation and he is also the target of it," the Last Week Tonight host said, pointing out how the president began repeating a Fox News personality's talking point that the cure is worse than the problem itself. “The feedback loop between Fox and Trump has run way ahead of the science here,” said Oliver, also noting Fox News promoting of hydroxychloroquine as a cure for coronavirus.
