HBO developing death penalty limited series drama The Fact of the Body

Author Alex Marzano-Lesnevich's acclaimed memoir The Fact of a Body: A Murder and a Memoir is being adapted by We the Animals director Jeremiah Zagar as a potential limited series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Fact of the Body "revolves around a young lawyer whose opposition to the death penalty is shaken when she's assigned the case of a child murderer whose complicated life story parallels the long-suppressed trauma of her past."
