Hailee Steinfeld Contacts the Spirit World in Dickinson Season 2 Teaser

Hailee Steinfeld is back as Emily Dickinson in this teaser clip for Season 2 of Dickinson, in which she seeks guidance from the spirit realm to validate her ambition to become the greatest poet in the world. The answer she gets is a bit... foreboding.

The series is a curious blend — a period dramedy with modern dialogue — telling the tale of the literary star's early years and struggles with her family's restrictions. It made a big enough splash that it has received a Season 3 order before Season 2 has even premiered.

Speaking of which, the teaser also announces that Dickinson Season 2 will premiere January 8 on Apple TV+.
