Ten Ridiculous Moments in WrestleMania History

  • It is WrestleMania weekend, which is basically the Super Bowl of professional wrestling, and now that Peacock has absorbed the WWE Network, they've released this new compilation of ten funny moments from WrestleManias past, a reminder that this is an industry that can get absolutely ridiculous.

The entries on the list include an inexplicable multi-year rivalry between Kane (Glen Jacobs, current mayor of Knox County, Tennessee) and baseball legend Pete Rose, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's confrontation with 1980s talk show host Morton Downey Jr., Bobby "The Brain" Heenan riding backwards on a camel, 90-year-old wrestling veteran Mae Young getting fresh with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Hulk Hogan forgetting where he is, and Andre the Giant strangling Mr. Belvedere star Bob Uecker.

WrestleMania is a two-day event streaming April 10 and 11 on Peacock

Andy Hunsaker has a head full of sitcom gags and nerd-genre lore, and can be followed @AndyHunsaker if you're into that sort of thing.
