Desperado Resort // Demolition Ranch shared a video of flood-struck Boerne in Texas on Instagram. The heartbreaking clip showed a glimpse of broken trees all around and dirty, overflowing floodwater flowing under a road bridge.

According to the video's voiceover, the water level rose higher than anticipated and destroyed nature in the meantime.

A concerned netizen wanted to know whether Carriker, his family, and the crew are safe amid the tragic updates surfacing on the internet.

    Instagram user mary.marv.5 commented,

"Is Matt, the crew, and his family safe? If they are, we know they are out there doing their best for the community. I am sorry for all the devastation on so many levels"

The resort responded to the question in the comments and confirmed that people are doing well. The reply read,

    "Yes. Everyone is safe."

Earlier this year, Matt Carriker announced his retirement from YouTube after an illustrious career spanning around 14 years. Since the past few days, he has been leveraging his influence and fame to raise awareness and advocate support for the victims in the recent floods. As Dexerto reported, the Desperado Resort has already added necessary details on its website to help the affected individuals.

Amid these dire times and heartwrenching occurrences in Texas, many social media creators have come forward to help. According to the outlet, YouTubers Brandon Herrera and Donut Operator joined the rescue teams to look for bodies.

Additionally, they are supporting people by raising donations. Also, Maya Higa's animal sanctuary is collecting funds for Texans, and online streamer and YouTuber Valkyrae has donated $10K.
