Who is Dog the Bounty Hunter? All about family life as stepson kills 13 yo in an accident

Gregory Zecca, who is the stepson of Duane "Dog" Chapman and the real son of Chapman's wife Francie, is now in the news due to a grave event that went down in Florida on Saturday. The cops say Zecca is said to have shot his 13-year-old son, Anthony, over the weekend.

This  event has attracted attention, partly because of Zecca's tie to the famed TV star. As more information is yet to come out,  authorities are investigating the case.

Who is Dog the Bounty Hunter?

Dog the Bounty Hunter is Duane Chapman, a TV star and real-life bounty hunter known for chasing down runaways. He got famous with his A&E show Dog the Bounty Hunter, which was on air from 2004 to 2012 and showed his late wife Beth and their family.

Chapman and Francie got married in 2021, after both had lost their past loved ones. Chapman became well known from Dog the Bounty Hunter, the A&E show.

He was joined by his late wife Beth and other family members. Later, the pair led Dog and Beth: On the Hunt on CMT from 2013 to 2015. In 2019, Chapman was back on TV in Dog's Most Wanted, a short series on WGN America.

Duane Chapman's stepson involved in accidental Florida shooting

In Naples, Florida, authorities are looking into a tragic event that went down on Saturday night with Gregory Zecca, who is the stepson of TV star Duane "Dog" Chapman.

According to TMZ, Zecca may have shot a gun by mistake, which hit his son Anthony. This went down in an apartment.

Gregory Zecca is the real son of Francie Frane, who is now married to Chapman.

More info about what went on and how Anthony is doing has not been shared yet, as the cops keep looking into it. The family told TMZ:

"We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony." 

Duane Chapman's family member under investigation after reported shooting incident

Cops got to the place when they heard about shots at around 8 p.m. local time. No one has been held yet, but the cops think it was a lone event and they are still looking into it.

Zecca, the person in question, is said to be Francie Frane's son and he reportedly works with Duane Chapman.
