The new season premieres July 20 on Netflix.
  • The Virgin River Season 4 trailer reveals there's more drama to come in the quiet town.

In the sneak peek, Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson) struggle with the unknown paternity of Mel's baby, leading him to question his place in the baby's life. To make matters worse, a new, attractive doctor joins the clinic, and Jack's judgmental father comes to town for a visit, intensifying Jack's insecurities.

Meanwhile, Mel is unable to enjoy the excitement of finally being pregnant, as her mother-in-law is fighting for custody of her last two embryos.

As for the other residents of Virgin River, Preacher (Colin Lawrence) continues his search for Christopher (Chase Petriw) and Paige (Lexa Doig), while Brie (Zibby Allen) fights for Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth), who is still in jail.

Fans can also expect to see the return of Hope (Annette O'Toole), who was absent for much of Season 3 due to a devastating car accident. In reality, O'Toole, was not on set for the bulk of shooting out of an abundance of caution amid the pandemic. The Season 4 trailer shows Hope is back with Doc (Tim Matheson), albeit struggling with the health implications of her accident.
