Ted Lasso Season 3 Trailer: Despite the Odds, AFC Richmond Still Believes

The Emmy-winning comedy returns to Apple TV+ in March.
  • AFC Richmond isn't letting a little adversity get them down. On Tuesday, Apple released a new teaser for Ted Lasso Season 3, which shows Coach Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) and the AFC Richmond squad fighting to succeed after their promotion and the departure of assistant coach Nate (Nick Mohammed) for West Ham United. Ted Lasso Season 3 premieres Wednesday, March 15 on Apple TV+.

In the new, 12-episode season of Ted Lasso, things seem to be falling apart on and off the field — but that won't stop this crew from giving it their all. While Ted deals with the pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own issues back home, as Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) steps up as an assistant coach alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt). Meanwhile, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is determined to beat Rupert's (Anthony Head) rival club, and Keeley's (Juno Temple) new responsibilities as head of her own PR agency complicate her relationship.

Ted Lasso returns to Apple TV+ as one of the most acclaimed comedies of all time. The second season, which premiered in July 2021, broke records by becoming the most Emmy-winning comedy for the second year in a row, earning four total wins (Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Comedy Actor and Supporting Actor, and Outstanding Directing). With the win for Outstanding Comedy Series, Ted Lasso joined the ranks of only seven other series that have earned the overall award in their first two years, a list that includes the likes of Cheers and 30 Rock.

In addition to the previously-released teaser, Apple has unveiled the official, full-length trailer for Ted Lasso Season 3 — watch below:
